Dating period
Dear parents,
Let us facilitate the beginning of the parental role with your advice and the most important recommendations in order to provide the best possible conditions for the development of your child.
Health
The mother should take care of her health, have a varied diet, get enough sleep (to harmonize sleep with the child), she should exercise and not miss the necessary health examinations.
If the mother is in a bad mood, sad or very tired for more than a few days, call for help.
Plan a preventive examination by a pediatrician and vaccination against hepatitis B in a month.
Nutrition
Breastfeeding a child on demand (8-12 times) is the highest quality food for newborns.
After leaving the maternity hospital, the child should be given 400 i every day while breastfeeding. j. vitamin D3, and in the first three months of life and 0.25 mg of vitamin K1 (when recommended by a pediatrician).
If your baby sleeps for more than two hours during the day, pat her, rock her, start taking her off and changing diapers to wake her up for feeding. Hold the baby so you can watch her suck. Encourage her to burp during breaks and after breastfeeding.
If you have difficulty feeding, consult a health visitor or pediatrician.
A child who gets enough food during the day will moisten 6-8 diapers. Initially, the child may have a stool after each feeding, and then the frequency is gradually reduced to 3-4 stools per day.
Care and support for development
Bathing, sleeping and playing should be a daily routine.
Put the baby to sleep on his back or side.
Safe environment and handling
The space in which the newborn resides and sleeps should be a smoke-free area.
Before bathing, check the temperature of the bath water using a thermometer (35-37 degrees) or a wrist.
Do not use hot liquids while holding the child in your arms.
Use a special safety seat in all means of transport, which should be located in the rear seat of the vehicle.
Warning signs

Let them know if you notice that a child:
- does not react to loud sounds,
- cannot lift his head and clear his airways when lying on his stomach.

Zdravlje
Majka treba da vodi racuna o svom zdravlju, da ima raznovrsnu ishranu, da dovoljno spava ( da uskladi spavanje sa detetom), ona treba da vezba i da ne propusta potrebne zdravstvene preglede.
Ako je majka neraspolozena, tuzna ili vrlo umorna duze od nekoliko dana pozovite pomoc.
Sa mesec dana planirajte preventivni pregled kod pedijatra i vakcinaciju protiv hepatitisa B.
Ishrana
Dojenje deteta na zahtev ( 8 - 12 puta) predstavlja najkvalitetniju ishranu za novorodjence.
Po izlasku iz porodilista, detetu uz dojenje svakodnevno treba davati 400 i. j. vitamina D3, a u prva tri meseca zivota i 0,25 mg vitamina K1 ( kada pedijatar to preporuci).
Ako beba tokom dana spava duze od dva sata, potapsite je, ljuljuskajte, pocnite da joj skidate i menjate pelene da biste je probudili za hranjenje.
Drzite bebu tako da mozete da je gledate dok sisa.
Podstaknite je da podrigne tokom pauze i posle dojenja.
Ako imate poteskoca sa hranjenjem, obratite se patronaznoj sestri ili pedijatru.
Dete koje tokom dana dobije dovoljno hrane ovlazice 6-8 pelena.
U pocetku dete moze da ima stolicu posle svakog hranjenja, a zatim se ucestalost postepeno smanjuje na 3-4 stolice dnevno.
Nega i podrska razvoju
Kupanje, spavanje i igra treba da predstavljaju svakodnevnu rutinu.
Stavljajte bebu da spava na ledjima ili na stranu.
Bezbedno okruzenje i postupanje
Prostor u kome novorodjence boravi i spava treba da bude prostor bez duvanskog dima.
Pre kupanja proverite temperaturu vode za kupanje koristeci termometar ( 35-37 stepeni) ili rucni zglob.
Nemojte koristiti vruce tecnosti dok drzite dete u rukama.
U svim prevoznim sredstvima koristite specijalno sigurnosno sediste, koje treba da je smesteno na zadnjem sedistu vozila.
Znaci upozorenja
Sve sto vas brine u vezi sa razvojem deteta podelite sa patronaznom sestrom i pedijatrom. Obavestite ih ako primetite da dete :
- ne reaguje na glasne zvuke,
- ne moze da odigne glavu i oslobodi disajne puteve kada lezi na stomaku.
